Pros:

Great heat, runs well, fairly peppy

Cons:

weak front suspension

Review:

it is not my favourite car. But it runs pretty good. A few small problems. Front suspension not very good. 2 control arm bushings, broken front coil spring. underside of vehicle looks pretty rusty for its age. Plus side paid $1000 last year.

Review:

Nissan Sentra GXE 2001 is my first car. I've buy it used in the spring of 2007. I never had major problems with it a this time except a master cylinder failure.

Are these other reviews from the SE 2.0?

Pros:

Runs great, looks good, handles well, dependable. Only in the shop for 2 days in nearly 8 years, engine computer/wiring repair.

Cons:

Not good in snow or ice, light & sporty make it slide. The electrical system had some issues. In brutal cold, it can be tough to start. Air/fuel mixture doesn't adjust well to -10 or -20 air temps.

Review:

Bought the car for my wife in April 2001. Made sure to get the SE 2.0, better engine, suspension, upgraded throughout...thought the 1.8 was cheaply built. We bought the car with 6 mles on it, mainly from our test drive. Now it has 172,000 miles, no rust runs great and is getting 29 mpg STILL. Only big trouble was a wiring/engine computer replacement at 135,000. The original tires were garbage... but changed them out at 50,000 miles. Otherwise just brakes/tires/oil at proper intervals. Paid $12,600, 7.5 years ago, been paid off for almost 4 years. Don't have any reason to let it go yet!
